Welcome to the presentation of the Federal Republic of Germany. The ELECRAMA 2018 is the exclusive forum for the Electrical and Electronics industry in India. It is THE essential showcase for the Electrical and Electronics industry as well as related products, services and technologies. The electrical and electronics industry is one of the most important industries in Germany.

Over 1,600 companies have opted for membership of the ZVEI. They employ around 90 percent of the employees and staff of the electrical industry in Germany. Its members include global players, medium-sized and family-owned companies. The sector has 850,000 employees in Germany plus more than 706,000 employees all over the world. In 2016 the turnover was approximately Euro 179 billion.

Germany’s electrical and electronics companies manufacture more than 100,000 different products and systems. 52 percent of the total turnover of this industry go to foreign markets. Serving the needs of international customers with high standards in safety, efficiency and quality is a key concern of German companies.

This year the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) as well as the AUMA -  Association of the German Trade Fair Industry are once again supporting a German group participation, giving more than 22 companies the possibility to present their excellent products and to offer their renowned services to key players and decision makers. German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers´ Association (ZVEI) as the association of German electrical and electronics industry and one of the initiating associations for the German joint pavilon is accompanying the German delegation and providing professional advice.

On behalf of all exhibitors, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), the AUMA - Association of the German Trade Fair Industry and the supporting associations wish all participants a successful show and extend a warm welcome to all visitors of the German Pavilion in hall 3.
