ZAS - Recycling ACSR or OPGW
ZECK Al/Steel Separator (ZAS)
Efficiently transform old transmission lines with the ZECK Al/Steel Separator (ZAS), designed to separate and recycle ACSR conductors and OPGW cables with diameters from 10–40 mm (0.39–1.57 inches). The ZAS machine feeds conductors under tension, stripping the aluminum layer into 30–70 mm segments, while preserving the steel core, ready for smelting and reuse.
Machine Specifications:
Diameter Range: 10–40 mm (0.39–1.57 in)
Max Rope Speed: 6.4 km/h (4 mph)
Electric Drive Performance: Approx. 17 kW
Dimensions (W x H x L): 1.5 x 2.4 x 2.3 m (4.92 x 7.87 x 7.54 ft)
Weight: Approx. 2,500 kg (5,200 lbs)
Conveyor Belt Expulsion Height: Approx. 1,200 mm
Optional: Power generator for enhanced flexibility
By optimizing recycling, the ZAS significantly reduces emissions and provides substantial cost savings, making it an ideal choice for companies committed to sustainability.
