The HTS has been designed to protect and monitor hermetically sealed transformers. It is also used for open type transformers.
Mounted on the transformer main tank, the HTS can be completely filled through an oil filler neck. In addition, the temperature of the insulating liquid is permanently monitored by a sensor.
Optionally, up to two integrated pressure switches offer an additional monitoring function for the transformer.
